MMC has been formally verified as a Level 2 Contributor (BEE Recognition Level 125%). This translates directly to positive procurement benefits for our clients – enabling them to claim R 1.25 as recognised preferential procurement spend for every R 1.00 spent with us.

Since our inception, MMC has recognised the value in providing tangible upliftment opportunities to individuals and communities who would otherwise not have access to the knowledge and beneficial services available within our industry. We believe that talent is not based upon the back-ground or education of an individual, but that it is an inherent quality which enables individuals to flourish when they are given the opportunity to hone and develop their skills through formal education and life-skills orientation. We believe that community upliftment and interaction is the back-bone of a successful society and as such we are dedicated to making a difference at every given opportunity.

Internal Skills Training

Software and hardware technologies are constantly evolving within the outsourced IT management industry. In order for MMC to continue to provide our clients with relevant solutions and solid support services, our management and team throughout all departments are required to constantly update their knowledge and skills. As such we annually compile and place each relevant team member on a comprehensive training syllabus that is based upon the review of current skills within our team and aligned with the review of future releases of software and hardware technologies. An up-to-date directory of training completed and qualifications achieved by team members is maintained by our administration department.
MMC is registered with ISETA.

Learnerships

MMC believes that practical work experience is essential within outsourced IT management for ensuring that individuals entering our industry with theoretical knowledge are able to add real value to the organisations who depend on our services. As such we provide up to 3 graduates from various tertiary institutions each year with learnership opportunities that assist them to integrate their knowledge with the functional aspects of IT service delivery, as well as expose them to our experienced team of professionals and their solid work methodologies.

MMC believes that all too often, talented individuals from disadvantaged communities are never given the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to society as tertiary education is for the most part - out of their reach. To this end we are investigating Tertiary Education Sponsorship opportunities in which we will provide the means for a local individual from a disadvantaged community to attain a Tertiary Qualification of his/her choice.

MMC aligns with suppliers and vendors that provide services in line with similar values and ideals as our own. Beyond aligning with Black Economic Empowered organisations, we actively support micro-enterprises in our endeavor to make a difference to the South African economy at all levels.

Although MMC currently assists two non-profit organisations with their IT requirements, we seek to identify an EME or QSE that shares our vision and values, to whom we will be able to provide business management guidance, mentoring and support.

At MMC we are highly enthusiastic about the positive difference IT is able to make to the smooth, efficient operation and enhanced communication levels of an organisation. We are honored that we have the opportunity to make such a significant and diverse contribution to the daily lives of the non-profit, community based organisations that we assist.

Molo Songololo

MMC initially assisted to set-up the IT network at Molo Songololo and we continue to provide free technical support and maintenance services on a monthly basis. In addition we have partnered with our software and hardware vendors to supply products to Molo Songololo at cost price.


SOS Children's Villages

MMC provided free of charge, the hardware and software required to set-up a Digital Village enabling the networking of national SOS Children’s Villages. We provide technical support and maintenance services on a monthly basis for a nominal fee and have provided on site, practical training to the mothers of SOS Children’s Villages, enabling them to understand how data is linked, as well as utilize software applications such as Microsoft Excel.
